Originally from western New York, James Dante has lived most of his life in northern California. Not long after graduating from the University of California at Davis, with a degree in international relations, he devoted his career to teaching pre-college adults.
He is the author of two novels: Nikolai Delov, from Omsk Publishing and The Tiger's Wedding, from Martin Sisters Publishing. His shorter works have appeared in literary journals including Rosebud and Toasted Cheese
