PHILLIP KIM is a Korean American banker turned novelist and writer. His debut novel, Nothing Gained, a financial thriller that draws on his twenty five years of experience as an investment banker in Asia, was published by Penguin Book Group in March 2013. He is currently working on his second novel and other writings. He lived in Hong Kong for over twenty years before moving to the UK in early 2015. He has contributed short stories to anthologies published by the Hong Kong Writers Circle and the ALR. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, he has a wife and daughter.

Phillip is the Business and Finance Director of the Asia Literary Review.
